Earning the Certificate
- Take the non-credit IoT short course either before you undertake the certificate or alongside your first chosen course within the certificate program
- Courses within the certificate should be taken for graduate credit and a grade
- Along with the non-credit short course, undertake 4 courses within the program for credit to complete the certificate. These can be in one of our advisory focus areas, or students can choose courses in several focus areas.
- Tailor the certificate to your interests and career goals
- Receive a B (3.0) or better in each course
- A conferred Bachelor’s degree with an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better (degree recommended in an engineering field)
- Certain courses within the program require advanced knowledge or specific programming languages
