Earning the Stanford Advanced Computer Security Certificate
You have the flexibility of taking individual courses within this program, or, to earn the certificate complete the 3 required courses and 3 elective courses (a total of 6 courses required). The certificate demonstrates mastery of computer security topics as outlined in the certificate.

An approved application is required to enroll in any course within the Stanford Advanced Computer Security Certificate to ensure you have the experience needed to benefit from the program. Application requirements are:
- Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited institution, with a minimum 3.0 GPA, or its equivalent.
- Applicants must have a background in programming, development, or security.
- Applicants must have a reliable, high-speed internet connection
