If you could prototype your life and your career, what would it look like?
In this 2.5-day workshop, you get the opportunity to learn from Stanford design experts and experienced coaches on the most important project of all - your life and work. You will learn how to use design thinking to create a life that is meaningful to you, using frameworks and tools from the flagship Stanford course.
This popular workshop is based on the book, Designing Your Life, by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans. You will learn new ways to frame problems, ideation tools to help you get unstuck, and insights into your decision-making processes. Following a simple playbook, you can create a plan that gets you to where you want to be, in your career and beyond. In fact, you will generate three possible future paths - called Odyssey Plans - for your life and work - and learn how to prototype strategies for making progress executing these plans.
You will discover, in the process, that a well-designed career is both productive and evolving. Join us in March!
You Will Learn
- Problem framing and ideation tools that you can apply immediately to solve problems in life and work
- Strategies for redesigning your job and career path, resolving the money vs. meaning dilemma
