Spacecraft Design and Operation Proficiency
This special certificate program is offered by arrangement only. The core course series, Spacecraft Design, provides a formal overview of developing a space mission using a small satellite, followed by hands-on laboratories where student teams design, build, test, and launch a real satellite that can perform a space mission. The program is intended for engineers and technical managers, with at least a bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics or engineering, who seek an intensive experience in spacecraft design. This certificate program requires the completion of the four required courses with a letter grade indicator of 3.0 or better.
