- Videotapes of televised courses from SCPD may be retained up to two
(2) weeks after the end of the quarter, at which time, the tapes
must be returned to SCPD. Unauthorized duplication of these
videotapes is not allowed, as this would be in violation of U.S.
copyright laws.
- At the end of the quarter, the SCPD Distribution
department sends a reminder to students and company coordinators
requesting that tapes be returned to SCPD (and that any personal
or company tapes be erased or destroyed).
- If tapes are not returned two (2) weeks after
the end of the quarter, SCPD contacts the company or student.
- Member companies agree that there will be no unauthorized viewing
or videotaping of SCPD televised courses and programs without prior
enrollment and registration. Violation of this policy can result
in loss of membership status.
- Member companies may video record televised Stanford courses, but
only for the purpose of providing makeup lectures for enrolled students
who miss lectures and for course review by employees participating
as HCP, NDO or Audit students. The Member Company agrees not to make
any other use of the videotapes without prior written consent from
SCPD.
- If coordinators or students tape broadcast courses, the tapes must
be erased or destroyed two (2) weeks after the end of the quarter.
