From its earliest days, Stanford Aeronautics and Astronautics (AA) has been a pioneer in its field: developing the Global Positioning System (GPS), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), novel fuels for hybrid rockets and more. The academic excellence and entrepreneurial spirit of Stanford AA is extended to students in industry through courses and programs delivered online and on campus by the Stanford Center for Professional Development. Students must be admitted as Stanford University graduate students through the regular admissions process. HCP students may now complete the MSAA degree completely at a distance.
