Stanford Strategic Decision and Risk Management Policies The Stanford Strategic Decision and Risk Management Certificate Program adopted the following program policies for all participants in the program: The Stanford Center for Professional Development reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime. Copyright Stanford University, the Stanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD), and SDG retain exclusive copyright ownership of materials used for educational programs presented for participants. The materials shall be marked to indicate that they are subject to a copyright. No part of this work may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means – electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise – without the prior written permission of Stanford University, SCPD, and SDG. Further, program participants will not distribute or sell any of these materials without written permission from Stanford University, SCPD, and SDG. Payment Terms On-Campus Courses A participant's registration is confirmed when payment is received. Payment must be in the form of a credit card, company check, company purchase order, or wire transfer. On-campus confirmation kits will be sent to a participant when payment or a company purchase order is received by SCPD. Online Courses A participant's registration is confirmed when payment is received. Payment must be in the form of a credit card, company check, or company purchase order. Online Courses
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) Participants may request Stanford University CEU credit for SDRM courses at $75 per course.
Participants must attend the entire course to receive a completion certificate. An absence of up to 30 minutes total may be excused by the course director. For any absence greater than 30 minutes, the participant will be asked to complete the online version of the course and answer some questions about the online session(s) before the completion certificate will be awarded. Video Release For any courses being taped for future online presentation, participants will be asked to sign a video release form. Any participant not wishing to sign the video release will be asked to sit in the rear corner of the room to ensure that s/he will not be captured on tape.
Online participants are asked to complete a final exam at the end of each course to maintain the integrity of the program. A completion certificate will be mailed to participants when they pass the exam. |
