Active members of the US Armed Forces and civilians employed by the U.S Armed Forces are eligible to pursue Stanford graduate studies in engineering, computer science, engineering management and technology through the Stanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD) distance learning programs. A SCPD company membership agreement is not required.

The SCPD offers academic courses for those students seeking a graduate degree, an academic certificate, credit for an individual course, or to audit a course. It also offers professional education short courses and seminars for professionals who want to develop skills in targeted areas.
