SCPD broadcast technologies allow students from member companies to fully benefit from actual Stanford graduate programs at their worksites.

Stanford graduate courses are televised live by SITN from nine teleclassrooms. The signal is relayed from campus via a microwave link to five transmitters on Black Mountain (eight miles south) and also broadcast from transmitters at Sunol Ridge in the East Bay.
Member companies located within an approximate 35-mile radius from the transmitters-from San Francisco to San Jose-receive the signals through a simple roof-mounted antenna.
At the company's premises, a frequency-changer converts the microwaves to VHF TV frequencies for viewing classes on standard television receivers.
Talkback technologies allow onsite students to engage in dialog with Stanford faculty and on campus students during live broadcasts.
