Earning the Certificate
You have the flexibility of taking individual courses within the program or earning the Stanford Strategic Decision and Risk Management Certificate by completing the two required and four elective courses.
Courses may be taken in any order and any method of instruction - online, at Stanford, or at work.
Professional Development Units
The Stanford Center for Professional Development is a registered education provider of the Project Management Institute.
Professional Development Units (PDUs) may be earned for each course taken as part of the Stanford Strategic Decision and Risk Management Certificate Program to maintain certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP®).

Time to Complete Certificate
You have until August 31, 2017 to enroll in courses.
The program’s online courses are self-paced and available on-demand for 60 days after the date of enrollment. This enables you to complete the program at your own pace. Each course takes roughly 20 hours to complete depending on your familiarity with the topic and experience with online learning. Each on campus course is two and a half days.
Our pacing recommendation for courses of this length is to complete each course within 60 days. To be on track, we recommend that you plan to spend approximately three hours per week on the course.
