Education Programs

International relationships are important to Stanford University. Faculty members from the School of Engineering and related academic departments have collaborated with the Stanford Center for Professional Development to reach professionals in over 40 countries. These customized programs are delivered at Stanford, online, and in the host country.

• Honghik University/IDAS - "Design and Innovation Management" program delivered to Korean executives by the ME Department.
• Samsung Corp - Licensing of online database courses from the Computer Science Department for corporate engineering teams.

Japan

• Hitachi Institute of Technology - Licensing of online versions of course in Design for Manufacturability from the Mechanical Engineering Department and Integrated Circuit Fabrication from the Electrical Engineering Department to support engineering curriculum within Hitachi's corporate university.
