Here are a few tools and steps to help you get started on your education path at Stanford.

1. Review the Course and Program Comparison Chart

For each education track, admission requirements, time commitment, student privileges and more appear side-by-side.

2. Create a mystanfordconnection account

This one-stop student portal helps you remember important deadlines, access essential documents, and view past, present, and future enrollments. After you've enrolled, this is your access point for courses.

3. Familiarize yourself with our course delivery options

All professional courses and most graduate courses are offered online. Master's students are welcome to attend courses on campus and selected professional courses are delivered at Stanford seasonally. Some professional courses may also be delivered at the work site as arranged by your employer.

4. Review tuition and fees

Many organizations partner with Stanford to support their employees' education goals. Check whether your employer is a member company—you may qualify for a tuition discount!

5. Estimate your time commitment

The amount of time required depends upon the educational track you select. You'll find helpful guidelines on the Time Commitment page.

6. Understand homework and exam logistics
