Steps to Choosing and Enrolling
Step 1: Learn About Our Offerings
- Familiarize yourself with the courses, graduate and professional certificates, and degrees available to working professionals. Course previews, seminars and webinars are available free of charge to assist in the decision-making process and guide you to the content that best fits your professional and academic interests.
Step 2: Choose Your Education Path
- You’ll need to decide if you plan to pursue individual courses, a series of courses that lead to a graduate certificate or professional certificate, or a Stanford University master’s degree. Each path requires different financial and time commitments and will benefit your career in a variety of ways. Our comparison chart maps the differences amongst these choices.
Step 3: Select Your Delivery Options
- Three flexible delivery methods are available to meet the demands of a Stanford education in tandem with your career. Complete courses by choosing a delivery method: online via asynchronous streaming video, on the Stanford University campus, or your employer may arrange for select courses to be delivered to a group at your work site, or any combination of the three.
Step 4: See if You Qualify for Discounts
- Check whether your employer is a Stanford Center for Professional Development member company. You may qualify for tuition discounts associated with your company's membership and gain support to pursue academic and professional goals while you work.
Step 5: Get Started!
- Courses have different application and enrollment requirements. After you have made a decision about the education path, level of commitment, and delivery method, visit the Courses & Seminars and Degrees & Certificates sections for more information on how to apply and enroll.
